Wembley to Soweto’s Guardian Photo Essay

Great to see the recent Wembley to Soweto’s photography project in LA featured as a Guardian Photo Essay. The Wembley to Soweto project has been providing training in photojournalism to young people around the globe for over a decade with outstanding outcomes. View their most recent project in LA in this Guardian photo essay here.

As londonprintstudio we first worked with Wembley to Soweto during the London Olympics in 2012 supporting a group of young photojournalists to explore their city beyond the frenzied hype and bubble. Their story is told in the exhibition catalogue: The other Side of Gold.
