Both controversial and unassuming ‘Plinth’ topples the human made from plinths. ‘Plinth’ celebrates the ecology that supports us, trees, soil, plants, wildlife.
First exhibited at Saatchi in 2023, it was pushed by the artist on the road and through the streets of London and installed covertly in Tate Britain, Frieze Sculpture.
Before the exhibition the artist pushed ‘Plinth’ (helped by the general public) along the roads of Shoreditch and installed ‘Plinth’ at the heart of the London Design Festival.

Watering Coca-Cola, 2023, Alexis Bamforth
One of a series of three antique galvanised watering cans. This supposed artefact questions the food we feed the food we feed ourselves. Every can of Coca-Cola requires at least three equivalent cans of water to make it. Coca-Cola production has led to water shortages in many parts of the world, it is even forcing people to travel miles to find water to survive.
