The posters and banners are part of a larger piece of work art collective Ocean Rebellion (OR) ‘exhibited’ in Nice, June 2025. Local officials and the French government banned all the work from exhibition. The work includes the world’s largest screen print ‘The Net’ (too large to show here). OR exhibited ‘The Net’ and posters anyway. The attempted arrest of ‘The Net’ by Police was prevented by a sit-in (or on) by locals.

‘The Net’ is the world’s largest screen print but it isn’t made to break records. Its length represents the 150 metre wide jaws of a bottom trawling net, bottom trawling nets are so large ten Jumbo Jets (Boeing 747s) can fit inside. It comprises of over 1,000 individual screen prints that tesselate and repeat across its length and three metre width.
