Five Decades of UK Protest at the Museum of Care curated by Clive Russell (This Ain’t Rock’n’Roll) and John Phillips.(Museum of Unrest)
The exhibition, which coincides with the launch of the David Graeber Institute was the first in a series of Apartment Art Exhibitions hosted by the Museum of Care (Sept 2022 to April 2023)
The exhibition includes posters and banners from 1975 to the present day including graphics from the early days of the Notting Hill Carnival, anti apartheid and anti nuclear energy campaigns, squatter’s rights and environmental activism, through to the recent David Graeber Fight Club at the HKW in Berlin in May 2022.
The exhibition includes works by Anthony Burrill, Michael Collins, Miles Glyn, Sophie Miller, John Phillips, Paddington Printshop, Arthur Stovell, Clive Russell and Marcus Walters
